Welcome to the random world of Krissy! I'm a 35 year old, figuring out this thing called life - in Texas. California born - Wisconsin raised.
I think I should start out by saying I was home-schooled...and then they all say:
"Oh, that makes sense!"
But seriously, being home-schooled shaped a lot of who I am and led me to pick up a lot of hobbies. One of those which included photography!
I became a computer lover in my teens where I taught myself coding, website design, photo editing, graphic design, etc. I ended up with with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (go Roadrunners!).
While in college - I had a part-time job at a restaurant/wedding venue. I fell in love with weddings and knew I wanted to be involved with them in some way.
I have always enjoyed taking photos because it captures a moment that is otherwise only a memory in your mind. Whether it's weddings, couples or family shoots...I get to capture someone's moments that they will have forever.

I am married to a cutie who turned me into a Star Wars nerd - yep, we are one of those "May the Fourth be with you" couples.
I am lucky that I have a strong support system who encourages me to do what I love and go after my dreams.
I have 2 Corgis that I am proudly obsessed with & they are my kids: Gizmo and Koda.
Gizmo is named after the Gremlins movie because I always thought corgis look like Mogwais. He is my little sensitive, active, petite baby.
Koda also means "little bear" which fits our bear perfectly! He is loud, needy, and the perfect cuddle bear.

I was a competitive gymnast for 10 years earning numerous awards and the title of Wisconsin State Champion.
When I was 19 years old with no plans on retiring- a gymnastics injury changed everything. I never competed again. I was never the same physically and mentally after that.
I followed the passion for gymnastics after that and coached gymnastics for 2 years before moving to Texas.
I am obsessed with Florida and beaches.
I traveled to meet a bestie I met online (a crazy story for another time!) in Florida in 2011 and 2012. That started it all.
Then, my husband and I drove to Destin, FL in 2019. I fell IN LOVE!!! Then we went again in 2021, 2023, 2024....and on and on and on.
I could sit on the beach every day, from morning to night. The smell and sounds....take me there now.
Aside from photography, I have random passions and things that I love doing. A few are:
- Gardening/yard-work
- Spending time with family
- Nutrition & Working out
- Cooking & Baking
- Being outdoors
- Playing piano
- Cleaning/organizing
I am my father's daughter and
I am not afraid of anything.
what drives me
I believe everything happens for a reason. We only have one life and tomorrow is never a guarantee.
With that being said, I believe photography is one of the most beautiful things in our life. It captures moments you will never experience again.
I am a very driven girl who always has to be working towards goals in life and continually learning. I never imagined I could pursue photography even though I knew deep down, that was my dream.
Every time I get the opportunity to meet clients and capture their families, their love, their wedding - it is something I feel so extremely lucky and honored to do. I treat every session with grace and enthusiasm so you feel relaxed and comfortable knowing I am there right beside you to capture the beauty of you and your loved ones.
