SPRING BRANCH, TEXAS WEDDING
Bruce and Macaela's wedding in Spring Branch, Texas was the most beautiful day in June. This was my first time shooting at The Orchard at Spring Branch and let me tell you - I AM OBSESSED!
The Orchard at Spring Branch has everything you'd ever want in a venue. A gorgeous outdoor chapel, bride and groom suites, indoor and outdoor reception areas.
The property gives the feel of a little town that's all yours for the day. Your personal little wedding town. With a lot of space and pretty landscaping but close enough together for an easy walk from one place to another.
Instead of trying to describe how it felt, I'll let the photos below speak for themselves!
Bruce and Macaela chose to share their vows privately on the second story of the suites...which once again, is the most beautiful space. The patio has a large swing and looks out to the property where you'll see two longhorns!
Their ceremony was exciting and you could just feel their love for each other. Their parents beamed with a glow as they walked down the aisle. Bruce and Macaela exchanged rings and laughter between each other followed by a ring of the wedding bell at the entrance of the chapel!
My favorite spot was the indoor reception hall. It is absolutely beautiful with the most gorgeous natural light from all of the windows(a photographer's dream). The stained glass windows bring it all together to make it feel warm with character. Even as the sun began to set, the glow came through the windows and it gave it a vibe that is unlike any reception space I've ever been in.
Emotions flowed during the first dances (always makes me tear up too!) followed by cake and dancing! We snuck away for a couple minutes as golden hour hit. Macaela knew the sunset photos would end up being her favorite photos of the day and I have to agree, they're mine too!
The longhorns showed up to celebrate Bruce and Macaela and they hung around for some photos.

Everyone played it "cool" and were such troopers bearing the hot June Texas heat. The indoor reception hall kept everyone cool in between spending time at the outdoor space and between cocktail trips to the outdoor bar!
The venue has so many spaces to relax and hang out that no one space ever feels too crowded. This was also fun as it gave us various locations for photos and different looks throughout the day.
Their wedding day was beautiful from start to finish. Calm, real, full of family and love. What an honor it was to capture their love and laughter. Also, I honestly cannot wait to shoot at this venue again! Until next time, I'll be dreaming about it. :)
